BASARA is a Japanese tea brand with a clear mission: “bring the beauty of Japanese tea into everyday life.”
We believe tea has the same power as coffee—to become a daily ritual loved by people everywhere, across cultures and continents.
Japanese tea has a history that goes back centuries. Yet too often, it is seen as something traditional, or even a little difficult to approach. At BASARA, we want to change that. We respect tradition of our culture, but we also reimagine Japanese tea in a modern way—open to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
Tea is in our DNA. Coming from a tea family, we’ve lived our lives surrounded by it—working side by side with farmers across Japan. From nurturing the soil to shading the fields, hand-picking, blending, and stone-milling, every step is done with care. This is the spirit we carry into every BASARA product.
As BASARA grows into the Middle East, where hospitality and ritual are deeply valued—we see tea as a universal language that brings people together.
