JINSUI's IROIRO series kyusu, created by a traditional potter in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, is a gem of long history and contemporary design. One of the unique charms of Tokoname-yaki kyusu is its lightness. In addition, there is a technique called "lid sururi. With this craftsman's technique, the lid is carefully and repeatedly polished to fit the kyusu perfectly. The lid, which has no gaps, makes the inside of the kyusu airtight and allows the tea leaves to fully steep.
